it feels like Mana Band keystone truly has no purpose now that tear is the must rush mana item.

Compared to Ultimate hat and even Nullifying Orb that have purposes throughout the entire game, I am finding that Mana Band is losing its effective use before the 10-minute mark in games. Once you have a tear and start stacking you're never really going to run out of mana unless you're actively trying to so having this keystone in conjunction with the tear items is just a total waste and I cant understand why anyone would take it over the other two. Sure it gives you a little mana sustain at the start but tear itself is such a cheap item and you can farm it pretty quickly, once you have it you're effectively stuck with a useless keystone that does nothing.

It's really popular with non-tear and tear users, and null orb falls off really heavily

This is what I came to say. Really looking forward to the changes on Swain, because I feel he could benefit from more max mana even though he doesn't use archangels. I hope that these changes actually give options for players; if you want to be really spammy, you can take tear and manaflow, but it's not the only legit option.

I feel it's not really useful to speculate on the effect of changes like this until we see some stats. There are definitely levels of tuning where this could have good uses; it's a matter of whether or not they hit that point, and we need more play data to know the answer to that.

Isn't that why they are changing it? Now it can give you up to an extra 250 mana which combined with archangel's will allow you to have an extra 7.5 AP and a stronger shield as well as a good mana regen once you cap it. Definitely not anything overpowered but it will fit in better.
