55% + win rate on both support and top lane for several patches in row. No pbe changes at all. Not even a talk about it. How is a feeding TANK out damaging early to mid game mage with 12:1 KDA, or 16 : 4 : 7 adc if they are so broken? Like hello Riot? Arent you forgetting something? He is also rocking solid pick rate as well so its not like small dedicated player base is doing this. Pretty much every autofilled sion does this.

Another example of Sion dealing way too much damage, this time he didnt even build thornmail!

It was a 25 minute game and sion has 2 damage items. If the game went on much longer you would have seen ahri's damage numbers outpace sion, but his base damage and aoe add up over a game.

As a man who mains Sion in the top lane I openly admit he’s way too strong right now. He’s got way too much damage while being absolutely one of the tankiness champs. Which would be fine where it not for his great engage, team fight, and bully potential in lane.

Sion is currently massive broken because of his E. It's currently bugged to be massively wider than it should be. This has the snowball effect of making his poke-top build totally unavoidable, and also making his ganks frustratingly easy to execute.

Beyond that, Sion is a tank. Him having a high death ratio isn't inherently feeding; sometimes the Tank just has to bite the bullet and die for an objective / someone else to life.

It is, however, worth noting that Sion is extremely dangerous when dead. A completely viable strategy is for Sion to weather a storm, suicide, and then have his team focus on holding the enemy in place so that he can go ham and murderize them. Seriously; he does total AD (which he has a lot of) +10% max health on auto when dead, has an extremely high attack speed, and has 100% lifesteal.

Sion can easily crank out several thousand damage, once killed, against an unaware team. Given the number of deaths he has in this game, combimed with several big beefy melee targets, I'd bet a lot of his damage was zombie damage.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that top laners will always do more damage than mid laners during laning phase? When his target has 2k hp and 20% passive healing while he has decently long cooldowns and it is impossible to burst Nasus down in a single combo, of course he is going to have more damage than you. You do a single combo and either kill your target or force a back with 1k damage. He does a combo and sits there auto attacking doing 500 damage then does it again in 15 seconds and again in 15 seconds and again in 15 seconds and again in 15 seconds and again in 15 seconds and again in 15 seconds.

Why use Sion jungle as anecdotal evidence? He's only got a 50% winrate and is way less picked. While Sion does have the potential for high damage and crowd control, all of it is telegraphed and unreliable. Plus he had Cinderhulk+Sunfire, which are technically damage items.

I do think he's on the strong side but I don't think his damage/CC is the problem, it's his tankiness. They buffed the amount of health he got from minions and monsters before the season and then his durability got buffed again with the new runes.

Here, Riot fixed it. His E doesn't do any damage at all. Happy? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDIyaO1eU8c

Honestly I cannot see the damage numbers so I cannot find an accurate scale. But I will say that AoE damage does add up really fast.

Honestly I don’t know if they fixed his E bug or not, but if not then I’m getting impatient for the fix.

Sion is like Ezreal. He does damage over the course of the entire game but doesn't do significant damage in a short period of time.

I am guessing Nasus just let Sion wail on him all game while he lifestole the damage back.
