Opinions on Ryze Jungle

I'm wondering what anyone thinks about this.

I saw him make a little bit of a showing in the jungle when when his most recent rework hit, and I felt like he was pretty strong, but that seems to have disappeared completely.

Now that the jungle has changed more in preseason, I actually think he should be a little stronger, but still nothing.

I definitely understand that there are plenty of strong junglers at the moment, and Ryze would certainly not be among top tier, so is that why he is overlooked completely?

If anyone has tried Ryze Jungle out recently, let me know what you think of him.
