Is Jungling Harder this Season?
Camps seem to hit harder and it seems like only a few junglers are better than the rest. I'm not a pro at jungling nor do I claim to be, but I've jungled quite a lot since Season 2 and it sure feels tougher than ever.

oh the good old days when I'm was a noob Yeh it was funnier back then since the items were easy lol
on jarvan, i usually burn through three pots, smite red and do scuttle, and still barely take my fourth camp while staying alive
meanwhile on xin im back to full hp after doing 2 camps with my w
Oh, yeah, way harder.
A lot of mechanics and micromanaging tips are way different from way back when (it's actually better for your health if you attack the small monsters first (if you're primarily a single target Jungler)). In general, the new Jungle monsters are also straight up stronger than the old set.
They buffed the strength of the jungle camps in the preseason, and so there were only a few champs that can really deal with the early jungle well enough to be considered effective. But Riot has been adding more and more champs to the "viable" pool as they buff specific champions and items. If anything it feels a bit overcrowded atm. There are obviously ridiculously strong picks like Udyr and Yi, but under them there's a vast pool of viable champions. So the most annoying thing now is just the amount of possible matchups you might have to deal with.
