thornmail change is wrong

i buy it to punish atk speed stackers and squishies, general poor team comps.

not as a counter adc item, but as a counter full ad team item.

tentative pbe changes

Thornmail Gold cost lowered from 2350g to 1200g Build path: Cloth Armor + Cloth Armor + 600g (now builds into Randuin's Omen) Armor lowered from 100 to 30 Unique passive magic damage reflect lowered from 25% to 15%

Randuin's Omen * Gold cost increased from 2600g to 3000g Build Path: Thornmail + Giant's Belt + 800g Armor lowered from 60 to 50 [New] Now gives -15% damage taken from critical strikes Unique Passive renamed to Thorns Unique Passive - Thorns: When basic attacked, deal magic damage to the attacker equal to 15% bonus Armor, doubled for critical strikes

Thornmail is used to counter auto attacking in general?

I agree, the fact that they removed the "plus 15% of incoming damage" and reduced the total armour by 40 and reduced the 25% of bonus armour to 15% is a huge nerf. as well it puts all champions that utilise thormail at a huge disadvantage, I main Rammus I would know. Thormail was never in a bad spot, all you need to counter it is a bloodthirster so you would heal for the amount of damage you where taking. The 15% Bonus chit resistance is laughable at best as an IE will give 50% increased crit damge making that measly 15% reduced crit damage a worthless investment. Of course this is all speculation as I don't have a PBE account to actually test this change but from the number that is my assumption.

surrender at 20 showcases thornmail as a 2 cloth + 600 gold item that builds into randuins instead of wardens mail. i actually like the idea, but i want a secondary alternative to randuins.
