What can you do against a Essence Reaver Renekton?

Pretty rediculous, he ults and then he can stun me every 2 seconds. With his empowered W he can stun me for long enough (1.5 seconds) to get his W stun ready again.

This is becoming quite unhealthy, instead of nerfing the champions who synergize too well (Renekton, Fiora, Jax, Master Yi) with this item, the item itself is receiving some nerfs on PBE.

In my opinion the only change it needed was something along the lines of this:

Essense Reaver

NEW - Essense Reaver no longer applies ability cooldown reduction, when using an empowered basic attack abilities.

Stop fighting him alone or in a small skirmish, force him into a full teamfight. If Renekton builds Essence Reaver instead of bruiser items, he will get deleted in teamfights.

Renekton was 3 levels ahead of Camille, and a whopping 5 levels ahead of Pyke; it's safe to assume he was already fed at this point.

Renekton is known for his ability to fight unfair fights, thanks to his Q healing off multiple champions. Ganking a Renekton is risky, as he can easily 1v2 if he plays smart.

Also this was more of an extended skirmish, it starts off as a 1v3, which is do-able as a fed Renekton. The sole reason he didn't die initially in the 1v3 was that Zoe missed her E, and did what appears to be 300 damage with her Q in the entire fight. Camille and Xin were the only two doing relevant damage to Renekton in the fight, and they were the first two to die. By the time Pyke arrives to the skirmish, it's a 1v2, where Pyke is incredibly behind Renekton and Zoe's spells are on cooldown, making it pretty much free. Jhin arrives once his team is dead, and walks up to Renekton away from his tower to give him the pentakill; I think it's safe to assume Jhin knew the game was over and was just giving Renekton a pentakill.

1~3 champs = small skirmish.

Build thronmail. Other than his ult he's pure physical damage, and he won't have his Black Cleaver if he rushed ER.
