yes and no...

item 3076 helps reduces his healing as he autos you and having the item 3082 reduces his dps

but having MR vs him is always ideal item 3194 i wonder would reduce the magic damage you take from him from its passive reduction and mr

It is. But he is a hybrid damage champ. One of a rare breed nowdays. So you just wanna sit on the Bramble Vest while you finish a health+MR item (assuming you are playing something tanky and item 3155 is off the table). Finish your Thornmail based on how the game goes, fed adc means finish fast, else buy something else first. You get the idea. It's a good general item for mid-late game and good early against auto attacking laners/junglers.
