Possible solution for Rengar?

Okay, so I am a Rengar main, and while I love the champion, I think he is quite overpowered despite being reworked shortly after his release and nerfed not too long ago. Especially with Glimps of the Void, the Infernal Drake, and the Cloud Drake being a thing since the mid season patch. However, I've thought of a way to nerf him so that he'll still be able to do Rengar things, while at the same time not being quite so overpowered. Here's my idea: take away Rengar's ability to crit with his Q. Because if you have an infinity edge on Rengar and manage to land a crit with his Q, you can easily deal around 1,500 damage if you're at full build and are at level 18. And even if you crit with a regular auto attack, that's still 1,000-1,200 damage. It's fine if his Q can still apply on-hit affects, but when you think about it he doesn't need crit in order to deal stupid amounts of damage. I've experimented with both crit and standard assassin Rengar, and to be honest, he doesn't really need crit chance whatsoever. I just want to hear you guys' thoughts on this.

Edit: Allow me to rephrase what I said. I am aware that Rengar's Q can't crit. What I'm refering to is Rengar's ability to crit with the bonus damage from his Q being added on top of the crit itself (since his Q technically counts as a basic attack). Sorry for the lack of clarification. What I'm suggesting is removing Rengar's ability to crit while his Q is active, or in other words, making it similar to Ezreal's Q.

Q damage cant crit, "rengar main"

That isn't even part of his problems.

His Q's bonus damage doesn't crit... Also the toxicity of Rengar comes from his Ultimate.

Yeah I've seen this video, and I'll admit that his stealth mechanic is a big problem despite the nice big yellow exclamation point that tells you you're about to get stabbed to death. With that said, what if his ultimate was changed to be somewhat like Evelynn's passive?

Do you mean that you can see it if he's close enough? I doubt that would fix him, because he can jump on you from afar while he's invisible. My idea is that he could not be completely invisible, he would distort the ground where he is like Heroes of the Storm stealth

That's an intesting idea actually, but that would involve completely changing the stealth mechanic in league, unless what you meant was making that exclusive to Rengar.

his Q damage isn't amplified by Q, it works just like for example a Talon Q crit; the auto-attack damage crits and then you add the Q damage. With that in mind, if you make it so he can't crit with a Q, it becomes a weird nerf rather than a good fix IMO.

Okay, let me rephrase what I said. I know that Rengar's Q itself can't crit, it's a regular crit with the bonus damage added on top of it. Sorry for the lack of clarification. What I'm suggesting is removing Rengar's ability to crit while his Q is active. Does that make more sense?

This would "punish" you for building crit though, which I think probably isn't a good thing. Maybe changing how the Q works (more scaling, more bonus AD, less attack speed?) to incentivize building AD rather than Crit?

I like the sound of changing his numbers, but at the same time I'm not sure if that's necessarily a good idea. Take Illaoi for example: her numbers have been changed around so much, and to be honest, the Kraken Priestess is in a pretty awkward spot. But at the same time maybe some tweaks would be good, for example what they did for Ekko in order to weaken him as a tank while making him stronger as an assassin.
