Maxing W on Fizz

I know maxing E is what you're "supposed" to do now, But every time I've tried it I've done poorly. I feel like I do more damage with W and I like being able to be a burst assassin who can also do a lot of damage with his auto attacks. Should note I was one of those people who liked ad bruiser Fizz when it was viable.
