why gold 5 and + division 5's need to be purged

people are boosted and hold the ranks, then they play as little as possible to just HOLD the rank. it makes the ladder artificially harder for honest players to climb. these division 5 holders really aren't that good and all too often players in the first or second division of the previous rating are better players. if not that say g5 player is really a bronze player who was just boosted.

people are dumped into the security of the 5th division of the next tier too often.

please consider dropping their butts to lower divisions or tiers overnight so that the true "top 2%, or top 15%" can climb to those respective ranks. because all too often someone has 3 accounts in diamond+ and oh look, 3 more players are stuck in plat 1 making a cutthroat environment when it doesn't need to be that way.

just look at the raw statistics here. how many games are there where a gold 5 player is playing with players from silver 3. in terms of elo that player holding the g5 rank is actually a silver 3 player. thats the average, but he holds the g5 ranking but the silver 3 player doesn't. now what sense does that make?

the ladder is outdated. its no longer working as intended.
