I'd actually agree that none of them but sort of Ahri are assassins.

Diana, Yi, Nocturne, and Yasuo are classified by Riot's new classification as divers and skirmishers, and so they are not in the assassin update.

Evelynn was blatantly omitted because Riot has all but given us the actual date of her VGU next year. Several high up Rioters (Meddler, Reav3, a few more) have stated that she is excessively likely to get a VGU in 2017, and as such, it would be pointless to give her an update only to overwrite it in less than a year. I mean, come on, even her Shadow Isles lore had a blurb about the excitement of an upcoming VGU in not so many words. All they're doing is not double dipping her.
