What does this eerie silence on the Morde rework mean?

We get no updates, no QnA's, no discussions with the designers on these changes. (Except RiotRepertoir; you rock) There are three conclusions I drew from this:

  1. they don't give a damn and will go through with whatever they feel like it
  2. there's internal discussion/conflict on the direction of his changes
  3. they gave up on the rework and won't push it to live servers
  4. they have no damn clue how to react

I sure hope it's either 2 or 3

I think its 1.

its because most of the toxic mord players finally wore that guy who was in charge out. and lets be honest they brought it on themselves for thinking that bullying a riot employee would get them what they want.

This. 100%. You can say that you dislike the changes. You can say why. But you should never be directly attacking or insulting the designer. And if they decide that they're done trying to please you after you do that, you shouldn't be shocked at it.

though i do feel bad for the few players who weren't toxic and tried to help but like lol every time he tries to comment to them he just got downvoted.

I don't think he would be too bothered by the downvotes. It's the people commenting rather nastily. A lot of rage, and most people have little constructive criticism or any logical suggestions (saying to not touch him isn't a logical suggestion).
