am i the only one who thinks that farming feels unrewarding

im not speaking about early lasthitting i speak about situation where you pick a guy with crappy early game but realy good late game like azir or yasuo (i just love these guys) and you have low kill potential yet good farming potential, so you farm and automaticaly get behind because any kill with assist gives like 35 minions to couple of ppl while enemies are still able to farm so either you lose cause you cant kill and have low gold or your team carries you like a heavy crap its just not possible to rely on gold from the minions

Yes, yes you are. Farming is fun. As an ADC main, you wouldn't believe how many times farming through mid game has made me the strongest person on my team. They'd be raging at me like OMFG MF BLEW THIS GAME, when I'm one of the only two players that can go against them without feeding.

Nasus says hi

Dese stacks feel pretyy darn good

well, not every champion has to do wel at all points of the game, some just have to scale differently

When in a farm lane, stay safe, stay back and farm. If your opponent tries to trade, back off and focus on staying safe. Farm heavy laners tend to out scale laners that need to get kills to snowball.

i love laning phase, i find every game i do better with cs and still maintaining the ability to harass or kill my lane opponent, dont forget in the long run cs makes up a large amount of your gold unless your getting a 20+ kill game which is rare to do if u dont already have a nice amount of cs to buy your first couple items.

im not speaking about early lasthitting

im speaking about champions who give up their early to get better late like azir and yasuo farming in mid or late game, they just get behind so hard compared to a guy who got lets say a kill and assist

both can poke and stuff but in actual trade they lose most of the time

Yasuo has crappy early game and low kill potential?

Are we playing the same game?

Knight SoIaire 1 votes

explais why every yasuo i see feeds his lane, cause he plays agressive with a champ that has insanely weak early

It can be hard to see, but one person's overdeveloped ability to farm can literally change the game. In fact, that's part of what infinite scalers and gold gen passives like Bankplank and Draven are banking on (get it?)-- that your end gold is enough to overcome an enemies natural gold value + the gold value they've acquired through items, and that with this gold advantage you can overcome them. Learning to CS properly is one of the best things you can do to win, and that's almost universal among maps. I closed the gap on my ARAM and Dominion W:L ratios by doing nothing other then learning to farm when others wouldn't, buying gold generating items when appropriate, and buying aura items who can literally bring thousands of stats worth of gold to a team.

You mainly mention champions that have innate gold increase or something that additionaly scales with farm and the importance of farming good at all I mentioned a specific case where you have weak early and weak mid game but good late without anything that additionaly scales with gold or farm (like azir and yasuo) When enemies and allies make some kills ... you, the guy who farms all the time and works hard to get all the possible cs just gets behind

Level scaling is also directly attributable to the gold value of a kit. Some champs are invariably worth more than others. Some can only see the full value late game. The ability to farm can help close the gap because of experience as well as gold, so you have twice the incentive to learn to CS.
