Reminder that if we end up in a slower pace meta from damage going down.
No one is allowed to complain about it, at all, period.

Yea that's not how this works. The people who like slower paced games won't complain, the people with the attention span of a goldfish, the ones who'd like every game to last 25 minutes tops, will complain.
Some times I think the best thing Riot could ever do to shut up some of the posters around here is to give them exactly what they are asking for.
Riot will never be able to do one thing that will be accepted by everyone. The community here has been voted the #1 most toxic community in online gaming for years now. Players are going to bitch about one thing or another no matter what happens or what changes.
I for one, welcome a slower meta. Bring some strategy back into the game. Back to the older days of having to outplay and outmaneuver multiple times. Not now where a single outplay early will just mean it's over unless you disconnect while you have a lead. 15min games are not exactly fun.
Damage isn't going down though.
Is damage going down? Last I checked they only added things that increase it, ways for you to get stats without even needing to take up an item slot like infernal buff, 4th dragon buff, elder buff, a way to get 2 rift heralds, and another lethality item. Meanwhile, defensives have remained unchanged and tanks being almost entirely out of the meta especially solo queue, most tanks build more like bruisers or even assassins now like Sion, for example, is better off going full lethality, Cho'gath and Malphite as AP mages/carries.
Now that they nerfed Malphite's jungle his AP playstyle is unplayable and his pick rate diminishes. Even tanks are pretty high in damage, even if you build full tank on Mundo his damage is super high because they buffed the crap out of his damaging abilities to compensate for tanks being so weak making him play like a super tanky bruiser without building any damage items.
I wish damage was going down, just slightly, some of my most fun matches recently have been 30+ minutes win or lose while I've had some matches I won that lasted only 10m and I didn't get anything from it, it was a waste of time more than it was enjoyable some games just don't have the frame work to be played quickly, League is one of them, the shorter the games get, the more a small number changes the balance of the game, meaning its easier to make something unbalanced accidentally
