Trying to kill someone as AP feels terrible

You sweep the enemy jungle, pink your bush and wait ...

Soon the enemy ADC or Jungler wanders in to clear a buff. Its an easy kill. While they're preoccupied, you spring from the bush and throw everything at them with the intent to kill. Surprised, they don't have time to react or dodge, so they eat every spell. As the last bit of their health is ticking away item 3156 and item 3053 activate. The combined shields absorb all your damage and deny you a kill. You have no cooldowns left and the enemy proceeds to lifesteal back to full HP and decimate your health bar. You die.

"gg ez, outplayed." Your killer says.

I agree to an extent. Trying to play any AP who isnt considered an assassin themselves or a super safe pick, you are not those champions today feel terrible. I still like Ahri, but the is just the AP assassin.

Playing Ziggs or like Xerath today probably would feel terrible.

Maybe if you spent more time farming and less time sitting in a bush waiting for your epic surprise attack you could build some powerful items of your own.
