Well gee, maybe if:

  • Mages and ADCs and skirmishers didn't burst even faster than they did.

  • ADCs didn't have the potential to lifesteal back anything that doesn't kill them in a split second.

  • Shield and healing items didn't cover an entire carry's health bar worth just by themselves instantaneously.

  • Damage in general wasn't so ridiculously high.

  • Exhaust wasn't so ridiculously strong and pretty much guaranteed a kill or at least completely nullifying the victim in a split second targeted spell.

Then assassins wouldn't have to burst people in half a second to be able to even HOPE to assassinate anyone.

AND they'd actually be viable with what this rework has done to them and still be fun to play AND play against AND have counterplay possible on both sides.

Instead of just being outclassed at their own job and being useless, as they are now.

I think damage across the boards should be toned WAAAAY down. These 2 second team fights are dumb AF, less damage gives room for counter play, out play and less crazy snowballing.

I'm an ADC player, and I'd rather be deleted by an assassin than by these BS tanks that seem to do more damage than a full Lux execute combo.

The problem is they slapped a fuck ton of mobility on the assassins which makes them balancing nightmares. Why should they instantly delete carries with very little risk? At least a mage like lux can be dodged and is vulnerable. Champs like LB and Zed are extremely safe and can easily jump in and out of fights, hop over walls, escape, outplay, etc. If Lux misses her bind, she's a sitting duck. I mean a champ like Annie is completely immobile and has to burn her only mobility (summoner 4) to engage, which leaves her vulnerable

That's the difference. Until riot addresses the huge mobility creep in these kits, assassins can't really be balanced.
