Salty Rant - Preseason, New Champions and Changes.

In honor of my newfound saltiness, this post is dedicated to thee. (Warning: lots of salt from a toplane main)

I thought juggernaut patch was fking bad but now, with the preseason (yes I know it's still the preseason, so it is subject to change) and all of its 'wonderful' changes it brings, balance seems to be have thrown out the fking window.

First of all, did the juggernauts actually get 'balanced' out before all of these new changes happened? It seems to me whilst they are a lesser evil to rogue adcs and other exploiters of the season, they are still way too strong. Buttt since they are being overshadowed at the moment, it doesn't seem like anything is going their way any time soon.

Secondly, who the hell butchered towers, screwed up champion and minion pathing and made the game a dangerously snowbally environment. IMO the best games are those when both teams ACTUALLY HAVE A CHANCE TO FIGHT BACK. From my experience, all games go from 0 - 0 to 0 - 100 real quick. There's not even a surrender at 15 minutes so you have to bare witness to being "it's all ogre now".

Thirdly, ADCS. What the hell happened to these guys, they weren't even 'bad off' in S5 in fact, they were quintessential to every team composition (besides the whole mordekaiser bot thing but that's another story). Not only have their base stats (mainly AD) all been buffed to rival fking bruisers and melee fighters but their skills have significantly improved (except for maybe kog?) and deal far greater damage than what they used to. Also, fk Lucian's ult mannnnn, that thing hurts and you don't even have to sit in it's entire duration to get scorched.

Fourthly, releasing Illaoi in this mess is not a good idea. Champion balance already seems like an ongoing nightmare for our pals at Rito and waiting for balance and order to return to a champion can be an excruciatingly slow ordeal. So why is it, that releasing a new* champion who will most likely be unbalanced from the start (whether that's too strong or too weak, IDK but she is pretty nasty in lane) becomes a good idea? Honestly, I think order needs to return to the game start before anything new arrives - like, why would you make your job harder than it already is?

Finally, PLEASE RITO for the love of teemo, slow down on the powercreep. Big patches are nice sometimes but exemplified by this preseason, sometimes MORE changes literally equates to MORE headaches. I am having little to no fun playing this game at its current stage even when I play with friends. I am not a competitive player nor would I regard myself as a "good" player but holy crap, juggernaut patch I could somewhat deal with and still find enjoyment in but this patch/preseason seriously sucks.

TL;DR - Preseason not fun, I am salty, too many changes, too many imbalances, increasing power creep, please stop releasing new champs right now and focus on balance, ty.

yeah well, the marksman changes were good thematically even tho ofcourse not balanced yet, which would be fine if everything else wasnt a complete mess. there is literally no positive change to all this.

well honestly aside from graves and the package, the marksmen changes were pretty good. cant really deny that. oh sure and the culling...

tho really the biggest flaw here are the new masteries. the game woulda been rather balanced with the old ones because they were so good and fit every champ super good so you can adapt sufficiently. with the new "masteries" or should i call them "apprentencies" as of how sht they are.. you cant do anything.
