Don't make Brutal Strikes use Malph's crit animation

  1. It looks stupid. Malphite clapping for every attack for 6 seconds looks stupid as hell.

  2. What if he actually crits? True Critphite is probably entirely gone now with both SOTD and the 40% AD steroid gone, but I can still see Triforce as a viable situational item on him, which does include 10% crit chance.

  3. There already is enough clarity for opponents that Malphite's W is active. He turns red, his hands glow, and there's a tiamat-like animation on the ground, which is also getting a VFX change to make it more noticeable.

If this is intended to make his brutal strikes look more... "brutal," I'd say just wait for his inevitable VU to give him new, separate animations for while Brutal Strikes is active, because turning Malphite into "the clap" looks more silly than brutal.

I'd also prefer new animations(like nauts W), but that would need makeing new animations, and i guess they just try to make best off what they already have

once again, he should get new animations when he gets his inevitable VU. The way it currently is is fine, but it would be cool to have unique Brutal Strikes animations. I was saying that they should do it when they are actually working on his visuals.

Does it say anywhere he loses the ability to critical hit? My understanding is all it would do is look the same, your normal and critical hits just look the same.

Yes, you are still able to crit. Critical strike animations still should not be used for Brutal Strikes, because it looks ugly and will make real crits deceiving

On the VU, he probably isn't getting one any time soon. There are far worse offenders.
