Never played this matchup before not sure what to expect. I've heard very mixed opinions on this, some people say Jayce hard counters Riven some say Riven hard counters Jayce, some say it's a skill matchup. I use to have trouble against Riven but the last two times I picked Darius and wrecked her. I wanted to try out the Jayce changes any advice?
Ser Garland1 votesThe only thing that can truly beat a Riven is the skill cap of Riven's player.
junglerboy161 votesI'd say it's a skill matchup. Both of you scale well into late game but also have pretty strong early level trading/all-in. I'd say bait her shield and then focus on using you shock blast to bully her around. Always take advantage of your range, and if she starts to all in, acceleration gate away, knock her back, and then fire a parting shot back through the gate.

this but i wouldnt suggest baiting shield, just poke when your able to and if she tries to go in at all use E to knock her away. she cant catch up to you then and your free to poke
