PTA in tank vs tank matchups?

Is this good? I considered it myself before and I played Nautilus vs Malphite and he had pta. Could it work? I sort of got cheesed with this, I was outrading hard with aftershock then that was over and he had 12% damage and suddenly he won the early trade and burnt my flash. I had pots going so I was ok and won but anyway just curious.

PTA just means you dont want extended trades; fight when aftershock is up, then nope out

if your champ can force extended trades (or easily get three autos off like renekton) its good

it's pretty alright on Shen because your combo usually involves 3 autos anyway if possible. PTA on Malphite isn't strange either, considering he got an attack speed buff, on top of getting attack speed from precision meaning he gets to slap you around with W. And the armor scalings on him are quite retarded to be honest.
