PSA: If your team gets first blood, you have most likely won the game.

So here is the story, and we all have experience of this:

You are in lane, playing safe and farming, trading damage with the enemy but not enough to kill them yet.

When all of a sudden, the enemy Zed or Kata gets first blood. They get their Duskblade(Zed) or Gunblade(Kata) earlier than expected, before you can get some defensive items and they end up killing you over and over again. If they feel bored killing you again and again because you offer no more gold, they will roam to another lane and kill them instead and further increase their already huge gold advantage. We have all had that game where the enemy Zed or Kata gets like 15kills+.

There is barely any time to come back because games nowadays are so short. They last for 15 or 20mins, which doesn't give you any time to build defensive or finish full builds.

This is the kind of scenario that happens most of the time. Obviously it could happen on your team or the enemy team, and it isn't always them specific champions. It could be any champion.

You still have some chance of winning, if your team play really well in team fights, or you isolate the fed enemy member and kill them as 5. Or if the fed member starts acting cocky and starts to int and throws the lead away, but this is most likely very late into the game. You won't reach this moment in games nowadays.

So first blood equals a most likely win.

Your story is less about first blood and more about giving assassins early kills. First blood means jack shit.

So first blood equals a most likely win.

About 9% more likely. First tower on the other hand is about 20% more likely.
