Upvote so Riot can see. Can we give Zoe's E the Fizz ult treatment? Opinions?

Right now, if a Fizz ults and hit somebody, the shark latches on to them and they take the damage, but in a past change they changed the Fizz ult that if he missed, the shark will be on the ground and it cannot be latched onto a target but if they still stand on top of it they take the damage which is a healthy change, it offers counterplay. It forces the Fizz to aim better to make sure the shark hits somebody directly or the Fizz risks his ultimate dealing no damage.

But this ain't the case with a Zoe E. First of all, a Zoe E is faster than a Fizz ult in speed, it can also travel continuosly over the same piece of terrain which a Fizz ult cannot and even if she misses the E, there is a zoning field that no one can walk over for 4 seconds or else they get put to sleep which is ridiculous and this is what I want changed.

Changes: If Zoe hits her E and it hits someone directly fair enough, but if she misses her E allow enemy champions to walk over the field for 3 seconds, only the last second of the field will sleep the enemy target, change the color of the field on the last second to let enemy champions know this is a sleep zone, you will be put to sleep if you are still stood over it. This offers counterplay and allows enemy champions some breathing room.

Why: It gives Zoe's E more skill to hit directly, or she risks not putting anybody to sleep. She has to rely on her teammates with slows and stuns to keep enemy champions on top of the sleep zone so she can chain their CC with her own for her full damage combo. Her E should be a reward for being a skillful player because right now, any Zoe player can make any enemy champion go to sleep even if they have bad skillshot cos of the zone that offers no counterplay.

I just wish the trap effect wasn't there.

If Zoe lands her E: not much explaining here needed

If Zoe misses her E: she gets rewarded with a new zoning tool that nobody can walk through (you can E more behind them, forcing them to walk your direction to dodge, or get hit if they continue moving forward, but Zoe benefits even more so that they either dodge it and are stuck there due to the trap, or they're getting hit by it and forced to lose most of their health if not just get killed.

This is what frustrates players a lot (aside from her damage and RNG) because there's no outplay to a good Zoe, she can only outplay herself.

I think what the post suggest to be changed would help, but I don't believe it would be enough as her E is one of her issues.

Riot isn't going to do this since why would be the point of the field even being there then? it does no damage... the only thing they need to do is just make it so that the first part of the effect is actually cleansable and/or QSSable that would add more than enough counterplay

Lists the things Zoe's E is better at than Fizz ult. Ignores the weaknesses like Zoe E having smaller hitbox, not applying significant slow or providing vision (True Sight) and the fact Fizz ult provides AoE hard CC (knockup for primary target, push aside for others) while Zoe has single-target CC or the time on the groud which works like delay. Still pretends they are comparable abilities.

I like the idea of the nerf but I feel the execution of it would be rather sloppy looking in game. I think a more suitable change would be if the duration of the sleep debuff if walked on it would rapidly decrease as the trap lies there, but also reducing the trap size. This would lower the zoning affect and consequences if you do step on it. On a side note, while a change like this is needed, I think her Q damage / possibly its travel speeds too are the real areas needing a nerf. I'm still shocked why Riot can allow her Q to do so much damage

Zoe's E is the only good spell in her kit. I wouldn't change it at all as along with her w. She already struggles hard if you know how to play against her (point'n click cc, assassins) but somehow most people doesn't seem to have that figured out yet. At least I am plat and haven't lost to a single Zoe after finding that out. Sure it's a bit annoying to have always wards up on the sides so your retard ADC doesnt get 1shit on but that's just how it is against any assassin.

I don't understand people complaining about the trap field. If it missed you, then unless you walk back into it, or are already in it's zone of influence, then you cannot be put to sleep. The problem is there isn't room enough to trade with her because it has a reset mechanic(a crappy one honestly) if she hits, and when it doesn't hit it's not that big of a difference when she already has CDR. They need to just increase the base cooldown and increase the reset mechanic to where it's shorter than previously. Good Zoe's will be rewarded, bad ones will have a large open window to be traded with.

They should already start by giving her so cd and reduce her damages. I played against her a few day ago, was mid with Wukong, she failed all her spells, so i decided to go her and punish her... what a mistake !!! i lost most of my 2/3 of my hp.

I hate that mechanic, personally. I'd rather just see her sleep bubble move slower and/or get a higher cooldown.
