When did it become unviable too flank?

I cant remember the last time I actually flanked the enemy and my team actually moved so we got anything from it. It was too long ago. When i was in fucking silver I could flank and have my team take advantage often. I'm confused, were some numbers changed in the world simulation? (if it is). Did the lol comunity get less intelligent?

Flanks became irrelevant as soon as riot decided every champion needs 43 dashes, a root, a Stealth and a handy in every new kit.

buahahaha! This post has me in my feels, cause indeed I can ping 100 times for that Im ganking bot while the enemy team is over extended and end up in a 1v2 still. Thankfully I play kata most the time and burst them down quickly enough to get 1 kill and leave or get the double if I manage to catch both in my R

Its whole mentality changing, people are more and more abadoning any decision making any strategy or playing safe everything whats matter is go full yolo chase 5 minutes across the map ingnore objectives and roam jungle and force as many fiaght as possible. After 14 minutes mark game become full fledged ARAM, junger take drake only if whole enemy team is dead an he happens to be near the pit otherwise its ignored. Game goal become about racking two digits in kills to gloat not about actual winnig.
