Automated systems are shitty idea.
Just because the amount of times they DONT work is significant enough.
For example, I just got a leavebuster 5game penalty for a match where I was having client issues. Ping was fine, just had crippling fps drops and big freezes. I had just played several games, it was out of nowhere. I didnt afk, I just had to restart a ew times tryng to fix the issue.
What alternative did I have? I coulld not restart, and be just as useless as NOT being there, more so because I'd just end up giving up kills because my game was all froze out half the time. The best and smartest option was me relogging and restarting client hoping whatever weird program fuckup was going on would fix istelf (hoping as sometimes is the case, just random weird problems that restarting clears up sometimes.)
I finished the game, was there for the majority of it, I just tried i think twice, maybe 3 times (cant recall) restarting the client. Instead of a human based system, which would have seen me informing my team and apologizing and CLEARLY not being maicious or at fault, an automated system punishes me regardless of the situation.
I'm sorry but automated systems are not smart enough to understand the nuances of the system. Yes, they deal with the real problems that occur, but I feel there are to many non problems that can get caught up because of the ignorance of a few lines of code.
The tribunal was just better. Real people who can interpret real situations, as opposed to a program that doesnt have the capability to grasp the nuances of real life.
Just my vent/thoughts.
