i'd rather get an auto loss than play support and win
Its just that bad of a role. So why can't we block out one role? It won't affect the queue times much at all.

Support is one of the most busted roles right now... Gold generation is out the ass, and has super cheap, highly gold efficient items that all have a really big impact on the game
For me Support the best and most fun role.... dont have to CS just be annoying to the enemy and that feeling you get when you save someone and they thanking you <3
My main problem with it is that i can only play a select few due to meta and i base my choice on enemy teams which again is affected by meta so theres times where im playing janna or soraka over and over but then at the end of the day its what i gotta do :3
You don't need to deal damage to have fun. Landing a clutch CC on high priority targets, popping off a Braum ult that hits 4 people, keeping your ADC alive at 5% hp when they almost died.
I mean I think there is a lot to be said for the "quiet carry". These kits that supports have that don't look super flashy but are actually game breaking, so when you go back and look at a slow motion replay you really see the effect.
When you are wondering how your team won a fight and you see that Lulu sped up your ADC so that they kited way back and out of range of that Gnar ult. Then when the rest of enemy team piled on, she popped her ult on mid laner resulting ina 3 man knockup. Her E meanwhile, is allowing the ADC to pump out an extra 40 magic damage per auto. Then when you tried to reposition, she Q'd two people on your team so that they had to burn flash to not get run down. On top of all that she popped redemption at the beginning of the fight, healing 3 of your players and damaging 2 of theirs.
Braum too, feels totally busted right now. His R and E are just ridiculous. And no, the E does not look very cool. But by the end of the game that shield will have mitigated thousands of damage.
I think we can all agree that even though it doesn't look very flashy, there is something very satisfying about watching an Ezreal pop of his ult and Q, and the mid laner blows their kit. Braum just W-E's into the front to block all that with his shield, and they stand their scratching their head when no one but Braum took any damage and it was very little. I mean that kind of thing actually makes me physically smile when I play the game. There is tons of satisfaction to be had in shutting down what the enemy is trying to do, plus most supports have at least a little agency to further the intentions of their own team as well. Or in the case of engage supports, a lot of agency while still retaining decent lockup/peel.
