No amount of number changes will give Kalista a healthy kit
She will never be a balancable champion with that passive, and should be gutted to unplayability until they remove it.

they could at least add a cap of like 5 spears against jungle monsters. kallista outsmiting a jungler is downright retarded. barons usually take long enough for her to get between 20 and 40 spears into that thing.
every other champ has a damage cap added into their abilities to prevent abuse cases like this on objctives. including chogath, poppy, nunu etc.
why is kallista the exception? either give her a cap or lift the restriction on other champions.
Good post.
Im sure riot will definitely take this intelligent post into consideration
I agree delete Kalista.
or you can get good
or you can get good
Yeah the only people who lose to kalista are bad players.
That's why she's 100% pick/ban in every competitive scene in the world.
Hence the problem with Riot's community. If a champ is good, they automatically cry for nerfs. If a champ is bad, they automatically need a rework. If a champ is balanced, they automatically need buffs because they aren't as good as the good champs.
Let's just make this Swat from Halo
Everyone gets the same stats and one ability that is a nidalee spear where the farthest range on it counts as a headshot and kills you and it does varying damage based on the distance thrown. The only difference is how the characters look.
Honestly this is what the community wants. God forbid there are good and bad champions and innovative kits with crazy abilities.
So stupid right?
They need to make her e not be able to stack infinitely. It should stack at max 3 or 5 times
It doesn't actually stack infinitely. Maximum is 260 something.. Not that it changes much because you'll already be dead if you're not Sion/Mundo.
what would work ---> keep passive as is, up her Q and E mana costs. this gives her a tougher laning phase and makes her a late game oriented champion.
instead of no real drawbacks, and awesome sauce playmaking.
MAYBE lower her vision granted by her sentry so that early game junglers can have an easier time ganking her, or give some sort of indicator that theres a sentry nearby like a rengar !!! above your head.

Her passive is the entire problem with her kit though. Everything else is interesting and would be a neat niche objective control/initiation ADC who isn't crit reliant.
Her passive is just basically the worst idea riot ever had, with the possible exception of Poppy's ult.
consider her with a different passive, literally anything else, then she would have no mobility, no range, but is dependent on getting close and getting resets with numerous autos, that just doesn't work, even ashe has a hard time doing that with 2 utility spells and a passive slow.
kalista's identity is I HOP, if you change that, she loses anything she has going for her and becomes super hard to pull off and just isn't worth it.
im suggesting she keeps the hops, but lacks in other areas of her kit, because her kit is very reliable and works great together with no real drawbacks. so instead of her having a safe lane (sentries) (Q poke/harass and rend resets/refunds for easy last hitting) she should have a lower base AD to make last hitting more difficult, and more costly abilities so she would have a tougher time in lane against their opposing laners, because junglers cant really gank her effectively.
what this would do is pressure her early, and then shes rewarded with her late game high mouse action mobility mouse action work. shes still susceptible to targeted abilities or area of effects.
but yes i do agree, you can lose during champion select if no one can counter the kalista, but thats just poor team management to begin with.
