Passives That Don't Carry Over

There are a few items in the game like item 3157 and item 3087. Their components have special passives, like Avarice, that don't carry over. I would like to know why they don't carry over, because I feel like they should.

  1. avarice blade is supposed to be a shitty item with a potential upside if you can keep it without getting punished so it shouldn't be put onto something slot-efficient

  2. zhonya's basically already gets the stats so it's irrelevant

It's why relying on a statik shiv as first item isn't really an economical decision.

I like to make it on champs as like a 3rd item but build the avarice first if laning permits.

That'd break youmus and shiv as items since they're so efficient by themselves while avarice is intended as a greed item with bad stats but potential huge pay offs.
