Why am I so inconsistent?

Sometimes I have games where I get everything on point, land all the CC and damage that I can do (and not even against people that are bad relative to my skill level), and then there's times where I pretty much walk into every single Lux and Morgana Q when I would normally know better, run from a teamfight when I should have stayed and vice versa, waste my flashes, etc. A typical day of League pretty much consists of doing okay the first couple games, then I lose to a stomp game and I just seem to perform terribly after it.

Is my brain just not wired correctly for this game?

I play a LOT better for my first ~three games a day. Makes my weekends rough, because I keep playing and I keep losing.

Most would suggest taking a break if you've lost 2 in a row. Do something else that'll calm your nerves and maybe even just stay away from League for the rest of that day. Not that I always follow this advice...

Some folk claim they can fight through the losses, and enjoy doing so. To be unmoved by any defeat. These valiant players posses the kind of heroic attributes this game needs.

Your focus, needs more focus.

I believe you are experiencing the phenomenon known as "tilt" Tilt is where, after being ROFLstomped into the ground, you preform badly and might even become toxic. The best way to fix this tilt is to stop playing League for a while, or ROFLstomp someone yourself.

I think it's tilt, yeah. I didn't assume that it was before because I never got angry or anything, but I guess I just get worn out.

Same with me. I wish my mental state didn't fatigue as time goes on because I'm grinding up IP for runes, but that's just the way it is.

After playing 3 games, you have probaly been on lol about 2 hours, take a break, (read a manga or watch a Youtube Viideo). You will not tilt as much if you take breaks.

Could be your familiarity with champions too.

If you don't know the ins and outs of what your champion can or cannot do at any given moment vs the enemy, especially damage-wise, you'll find yourself either misplaying a lot (aggressive people) or running away a lot (cautious people).

This can lead to a sort of in-game tilt that you even see among pro players.

When players are unsure of exactly what they want to do, they waste opportunities and wander into bad situations often enough.

play easy champs if your play is inconsistent its that or just you are not thinking think all the time never stop thinking about where they are and what the might be doing and what they can do to you at all times

My guess is you're getting players of different skill levels. Most people in cardboard 7 can't land a Morgana Q to save their lives, much less win their lane, but other times you get people of a decent skill level Not to mention that, in bronze, you get people that queue up as two roles, one that they know very well, and one that they only know the basics of, or at least can fake the appearance that they know what they're doing. They'll throw out spells and try to harass, but some skill shot champions that rely on a skill shot to do heavy damage fall short in this regard.

It's my guess that you're getting these different kinds of players in your games. This is ESPECIALLY true with supports. What a lot of people are doing now, is they queue up as support even though they don't know how to support, in order to cut their queue times down. Then they either request they still get their role anyway, take their role anyway, or play a shit support game. Either way, the support is likely to be bad, because this player will force someone into the support role, where they may just be crap at support.

Its most likely the various skillsets of players. It could be related to matchmaking as well. One game you get a pooper, the next a god.

There is also probably some tilt involved. Its very very easy to get tilted in low elo when often games are stomps or lanes just endlessly feed as if they've never played the game before.

I see wildly various skillsets in the games I play. From players that are surprisingly good to adcs that you watch their mechanics for 2 seconds and you know its going to be bad.

Overall I think its due to the matchmaking of the ladder system. I go into detail about why I think this is the case, and ideas about how to fix it in my post. I'm trying to get some attention to it in hopes that riot will notice and perhaps it will springboard into good ideas. Even if mine are shit, though I'm pretty confident in them, lol.

Would appreciate your opinion: Fixing the Ranked Ladder System
