I'm not sure, cause I only got to play the tank build in a one for all.

But I blame the Dark Seal. It seamed that ever since Riot nerfed his base and buffed his ratios, players augmented their build with the dark seal. And that's all he really needs to get passed the early game, because it has a ridiculous synergy with corrupting potion. And then as an added bonus, on the off chance you start snowballing, the dark seal upgrades to Mejia's And now will have really good damage along side his tank items.
