Olaf standing in the current meta?

lol he sucks
really though the reason u picked him before was because he was the true embodiment of a broken bruiser. impossible to kill and deals impossible to damage. it was made even worse by the fact that he wasn't able to be cc'd either.
riot nerfed his damage and free stats and spells in general then reworked him into some kind of attack speed thing. problem is that olaf doesnt instawin lane anymore(assuming enemy laner isn't retarded) and on top of that can't dive 1v5 into enemy team and kill the adc. he's just too easy to kill and doesn't deal damage fast enough before his ult runs out and he gets peeled off.
this is assuming the enemy team isnt retarded. in low elo environment olaf works just fine.
Olaf is one of my favorite characters, but I would say he's still not the greatest ATM. He does well against tanks, but he still can't do much to the backline if they have any sort of mobility.

He is... okay... but BotRK is hardly core on him. The only time you get it is if you are top lane and wildly ahead. Sadly, Olaf is better in the jungle than he is top so you should really never buy BotRK.
+ Ult = walk all over their back line. Really the only way to be consistently decent on Olaf.
Olaf is fine, but probably needs Lulu/Sivir (or any other external speed buff) and a Righteous Glory to be effective.
hes a tank duelist imo. the issue is that the power of tanks are so strong that i dont think he has what it takes to do it. shyv for instance is a MUCH better tank fighter than he is.
I agree with what everyone is saying about the mobility. Riot should make his axe a root if he gets a direct hit where it lands. That way he can get to some champions without being too OP.
