Still haven't recovered from preseason. Need ideas.

Every single champion I played regularly in S5 (my first full season) has been massively reworked or is now very, very out of meta. I realize times change and metas shift but I haven't yet figured out a way to deal with the AD burst meta.

My most played champs in s5:

Jinx (nerfed) Tristana (reworked.) Kog'maw usually AP (AP nerfed AD reworked.) Graves (reworked and always banned) Teemo (not doing well in a burst meta) Gnar (not doing well in a burst meta.) Vel'koz support (rework incoming.)

I'm basically in this awkard position where I feel like everything I knew how to play at all is no-longer an option. I made it to silver 1 last season with very few ranked games played. Right now I'm feeling like I have the skill of high bronze. (Haven't ranked enough to place yet.)

Basically, I'm back to square one.

I've been focusing on trying to pick up current, in meta ADCs like Lucian but it hasn't been very easy for me.

How is anyone else dealing with this? Any sub classes or classes you'd recommend if you were a marksman main last season and struggling this one?

Is ANY sustained damage champion still doing okay?

I'm trying to keep my head in the game but I'm not sure what to do anymore.

I used to main ADC alot, now I do support so I know what yah mean. Right now, KogMaw as soon as he picks up rageblade. Tristana and Kalista are also decent champs if you survive till late game.

Alot of matches are decided in mid game where caster adc are at their strongest so I can understand the disparity you are having with the new season.
