Ratio of good riven players vs bad.

seriously. I've never seen that many bad players for a champion. I've literally seen a handful in over 600 matches. that were good. and 4 of them are just plain Horrendous every day.

As of late Riven is in hell. Tanks are common, which were the one way you beat her in lane in the first place, now that they're even stronger than before, Riven just gets dumped on in lane, then is useless the rest of the game. High risk high reward, so when she fails in lane she's typically useless.

Everyone still wants to be the next boxbox or whichever other riven main you want to reference, the fact is, if you don't have the mechanics to play the champion near their level, you're going to get completely stomped right now.

Brutalizer got split into two items, which hurt her pretty badly. Tiamat lost it's passive, which also hurt a bit. The worst thing of all though is that the new last whisper doesn't penetrate base armor, so when you're getting pummeled by that malphite in lane and try to get rid of some of the armor by grabbing LW, there's still a chunk that you'll never get through, and at 18, that's right about 92 armor that you can't do anything about.

Any Riven mains below diamond in most cases, unless they have endless games playing Riven, are just not very good. She requires a tremendous amount of mechanical practice, and no longer can just faceroll and win lane. She has a 46% win rate right now, and the only champions down that low, are the super high skill cap champions, and the champions that are so massively off meta they're practically unplayable right now.
