gnar gets too much kiting tools

sorry but if you pick a champion who cant gapclose every 5 seconds while spitting slows or super burst ... even with that tiny hp pool gnar is going to destroy you ... and he doesnt even deal that much damage early

seriously tell me how am i meant to handle a champion who slows me while speeding up himself and has a jump to back that up without any resource cost ... ofc a ranged champion

there is a guy like ekko who works in similar way but he has rather high mana costs that punish him for not hitting his q so dodging works... and is meele ... so he needs to make himself vulnerable to get his reward ... so hitting him back works too

meanwhile gnar works on one concept tiny gnar is harder to catch but vulnerable mega gnar is slow but you have no chance to duel him in meele

gnar is a good concept of a toplaner... since he is on par with both ranged and meele champions and both have ways to take him down

but due to that cc paired with ms boost and % damage he tends to have complete superiority ower certain meeles which he can dominate throughout entire game with ease

and dodging his boomerangs doesnt realy help .... you dont get damaged but you get denied some cs and he doesnt lose anything on his way to effectively outscale you or becoming mega gnar and going ham on you

gnar basicaly forces you to take action and to exploit his current form ... while mega gnar works fine ... mini gnar tends to shit on people with his insane and infinite mobility paired with soft cc

thats just to much to take for a generic toplaner who has hard time catching people

Gnar isn't that hard to fight, especially if you're competent enough to sit behind minions until his Q is wasted trying to hit you or farming. Then either farm for a few seconds or harass him. You don't miss out of much, especially as Yasuo. Just wind wall a Q so he has to wait a good 15 seconds for another boomerang. Then when he's in mega form post-6, don't go near him. Pre-6, you can harass him pretty well if he misses his stun.

Early game goes to yasuo due to gnar not having full kite ability and him being squishy. At around level 7 when Gnar has a few points in his Q your not going to be able to fight gnar, around this time he should have a warden's mail and some boots and you will barely do any damage to him, while with his mixed damage you'll take some good poke.
