Should Jinx have a weaker early game in exchange for her dominant late-game?

As the above clip will show you, Jinx is a MONSTER once she hits late-game. AOE long-range crits are terrifying if you don't shut her down, which can be hard to do if she's got a Janna peeling for her.

Since Jinx is meant to be the "ADHC" (AD Hyper Carry), she's supposed to have the most powerful late-game. But to compensate for that, shouldn't she have a crappy early run? Right now, her early game is mediocre, not weak. As a result, she can still snowball easily, and only Graves seems to give her much trouble early on.

I'm not saying Jinx needs "NERFS NAO!", but at the very least, it needs to be thought on. Maybe lowering some of her early stats to make her glassier early would make her easier to bully.

Onion sky you've never played jinx before and don't realize how crappy she is early on

She really isn't. Anyone with the potential to stand up to Cait cannot have a weak early.

I'm fine with where she is now. I don't really see a way of actually nerfing her without actually crippling her and just making it so Kog'Maw is the "only" late game ADC left to play. Also, LCS matchs aren't a good indicator on whats viable or not. ADC's get fed a LOT more free gold in pro matchs(in most matchs anyways) then they would get in solo Q, so they are set up to succeed. They are given 2v1 lane swaps a lot where it is easy for them to farm while also shutting down the opposing top laner, who would usually be the one who would be able to kill her in the mid game if they had received a normal laning phase. The lane swap also allows her to dodge out of unfavorable match ups, so she won't have to actually run into the ADC's/support duo lane that would have dumped on her early game(before she got item 1038 ) as well.

Jinx is not a hypercarry - she's stronger in shorter games than in longer ones, as indicated by her winrate against gamelength. Additionally, her winrate in long games falls way below her average winrate.

Additionally, she doesn't seem to have losing match-ups: Against all 17 other ADCs but Quinn, she maintains an above 50% winrate.

Compared to other ADC's, yes, she's a hypercarry. Why? Splash crits and speed resets.

I think her fishbones AAs should cost more mana.

Agreed. Needs to be more judicious with her Zap!'s.
