new champion has like "8" abilities gets like 100s of upvotes, but when i suggest a change to kog
i get downvoted lmao

He has 4 abilities and and a passive like most other champions. The only things that really change are his Ult/W which is the same ability just slightly dif effects depending on the form he's in. From slowing -> knock up and Healing on R.. It's like a Kha'zix in that fasion but he needs to collect soul spheres... I don't see the "8" abilities.
he's literally 2 different class types
"Kayn's the only champ in League who can change his class in the middle of a game. If the other team's squishier champs are carrying, he can focus on attacking ranged opponents to become the shadow assassin. If Kayn's team needs a tankier frontline, Rhaast is the darkin for the job."
get fed? then play as an assassin and do well. not fed/team is feeding? play as a tank/bruiser/whatever you want to call it and do well.
A LOT of fighters have that ability without having to go through the efforts of attacking a certain type of champion...

Lee sin and renekton are good examples.
Kaynes meant to spike with participation, not items.

and more, are fully capable of going hard into offensive stats if ahead, or building defense if behind. And still doing their job/function.

There is a big difference though. Kayn's bruiser style actually gives him natural sustain and CC whereas his assassin style gives him more natural damage. In addition to this he will also be building bruisery or assassiny, so it is basically like any of those champions but with added INNATE changes on top of that.
I really dont see where you are going with this? Most bruisers have natural sustain, and most assassins have natural damage..

Take Riven for example. She has no innate sustain. She generally builds bruisery but mostly builds damage. She CAN build tankier if she's behind but she still has no natural sustain. This guy can get sustain if he decides to go the tankier route whereas he gets more damage if he decides to go the damage route.
And Riven has a short CD Shield, and 2 forms of Hard CC... you're comparing apples to oranges..

The shield blocks one damage spell, and it's only short when you have 45% CDR. A lot of people have short abilities at 45% CDR, and her "two forms of hard CC" add up to be less than most single abilities with hard CC in the game. They're like 1.5 seconds of CC total. Either way, I'm not the one who initially brought up Riven and other bruisers so if it's like comparing apples to oranges why are you bringing her or any of them up? The point that he was different was exactly the point I was making.
I didn't bring Riven up? lol
But Kayn act like a fighter - diver type - when you choose the Darkin. And Diver have some kind of safety / sustain: Hecarim W, Lee Sin's 2d W, Vi's passive, Nocturne's W, Diana's W, Jax's R, Irelia's P W R, Renek's Q... etc etc...But they also have a lot of CC. Meanwhile Rhaast only got his W to knock up and it's telegraphed. He's more focused on sustaining and dealing dmg. (Just in fact like Irelia)
