Old fiora in my opinion is superior in looks and mechanics to new fiora. We should have the option to choose which one to play. Let the game stats decide which is more popular

I really don't like changes that unnecessarily complicate the game. Makes the learning curve harder, new players will probably wonder "wait this fiora has different skills and splash art what?"

Like they wouldn't struggle with any other rework or patch/meta?

Riot needs a better new player system I agree, but not reworking problematic champs. I mean they have tried to keep garen simple for instance.

Well as good as this idea would be it is so not gonna happen. Because if they do it with the Fiora changes, I would insist to do the very same thing with the Karma rework. New Karma simply doesn't feel skillfull anymore and her mechanics were much more fun than they are now. Just like you feel the way with Fiora. An option to choose between the skillsets of reworked champions would require an incredible amount of balancing tho, which would be just way too much work for riot to actually make it happen. remember, if they change anything in her ratios for example they would have to consider her old skillset as well as her new one, which means they need to balance 2 champions instead of one without even having 2 actual champions.

So sadly you will have to accept Fiora is not Fiora anymore. Just like Karma is not Karma anymore. Its just a new Champion with the same name and the old one got deleted. The only thing that would be within possibilities, but which is very unlikely to happen, is considering her skin were changed as well, would be if riot would give people the chance to refund reworked skins since its not what you bought at that time. But best would be just to accept it since it's the most realistic outcome they won't do neither of those 2 options.

the new fiora feels awesome. only thing i can agree with is her walking animation that looks really really weird.

in terms of duelling and skill you just feel like you have more options than before. like if you had someone with on target abilities in your lane, youd get shit on.

if you had an auto attacking champ in your lane you probably would have won, as you could exchange short trades in your favour.

now its like, no matter who im facing, i never feel like im totally without options.

and you can do a lot with auto attack resets with q and e.
