Is Azir any good now?

I saw Azir was buffed in 5.5, is he worth learning to play now?

I didn't have the chance to play him before he was nerfed and I am wondering about buying him.

Thanks

Azir has always been worth playing. He just has a high skill cap. Yes the initial nerfs hurt his power, but I was still able to perform decently with him even then. Now that he's gotten a little QoL buffing it's just even better now.

Incorrect lol. The nerfs were crippling, even to good Azir players across all elos. Riot has even admitted it was a mistake, and they never admit when they're wrong. He's viable again though now with the 5.5 buffs, absolutely. Just a high skill cap, takes awhile to learn him well.

Azir is good. Has a high skill cap. Hard to master.

Azir feels great now, used to main him on release until the crippling range nerfs. I can easily carry games and lane well against anyone, even Leblanc after these buffs.

Alright, comments seem pretty pro Azir, I'm gonna buy him.

Thanks for your help guys

Azir does well, but he needs a smart team behind him. If you can fight in the jungle or a "narrow lane", as long as your carries (if you have more than you and your ADC) stay behind the wall, it's fight changing. The enemy has to flash over it or blink if they have one.

His sieging potential before his nerfs was broken, the buffs this patch weren't that great, but they were nice I suppose. Azir has only been bad on his release because of the bugs. Since they fixed most of them, he has been fine. It's just incredibly hard to carry with him. He does exceptionally well with a smart team.

The range buff feels really nice. I played a ton of him before the initial nerfs and thought he was absolutely unplayable afterwards, but since this patch he seems to be in a playable spot again.

He still has bugs that directly influence his gameplay. So it's still not worth to play him seriously. This means the infamous Azir does the attack order animation for the soldier->sound clip of the soldier plays->the soldier however does not attack. The other is what fucked me over several times now is the range bug on Shifting Sands. You can't cast it on soldier who are over of a certain distance.Just before the bond would break with the soldier you should stop then try to cast Shifting Sands. It won't work.I reported this bug way before this patch went live but no fix to it. I really hope it's not one of Riot's hidden nerfs as they just changed it from 1100 range to global the casting range on Shifting Sands. Also there are still instances where ppl go through the wall somehow or not get knocked back.

And his power is questionable, his winrate actually goes lower in late game even though he is supposed to be a late game champ. ?????
