Vladimir is possibly the most oppressive champion in the game.

I mean, pretty much every champion has to manage at least 1 resource. Even energy champions have to be careful in sustained fights, and they can still get poked down in lane, with many of them having little or no innate sustain.

But not Vlad.

He has no resource, which means he can spam those abilities for days His abilities give him ridiculous sustain in lane, for which he pays nothing. It's impossible to poke him down, because you simply can't outlast infinite sustain. If you all in and fail, then he can get back to 100% in no time, whilst you're starved of health and resource.

Who designed this guy?

You don't poke him. You all-in him and burst him down before he is able to sustain all that damage back. You zone him from farms so that he can't heal. You take advantage of his weak early game, where his Q has a mediocre healing.

I'm gonna go with either solo lane Maokai, or Cho'gath. There's also mid lane fiddlesticks. Darius and Fiora are also rather difficult to play against, all more oppressive than Vlad.

You don't have faced a good teemo in a long time I guess. you are lucky. Teemo makes me want to stop playng LoL. If teemo becomes meta I'll stop playng anything but jungle.

At least Vlad is weak early so someone with strong early damage and a gapcloser will crush him

Teemo on the other hand wins lane vs probably 80% of top laners. AND he can ward/shroom as he pleases anywhere
