Fizz having the 20% damage amp while Ahri gets it removed actually makes sense.

Ahri was not intended to be an assassin/burst mage but she was made to be one since they don't want you being a cancer tumor to this game and using DFG plus WRRR to get a kill. Her kit can easily be changed to be a kiting mage with decent pick potential.

Fizz was intended to be an assassin. His entire kit was designed with the idea that he's gonna one-shot somebody then either die or attempt to run away. The only thing his kit could be changed to is a bruiser, but I'm sure most of us don't want a tanky fish who still does high sustained damage and is impossible to catch rampaging across the rift. Fizz's damage was reduced in general, and this makes him a fair bit healthier since he has to land the shark to get a kill. This means you won't get bullshitted by a Fizz missing his fish and killing you anyways nearly as often as you did before.

tl;dr Ahri's intended role doesn't line up with a 20% damage amp while Fizz's does

The thing is Riot said that they were going to compensate champions who needed DFG. What they are doing is they are compensating the champions who ABUSED DFG.

Fizz doesn't need this shit

vi was intended to be a toplaner but she became a jungler riot gives no fucks

fizz was a cancer riot always ignored him now suddenly they actualy work on him in a good way

ahri was a mage with good assasination suddenly riot says that they need to gut the sht out of her because identity and sht

lee and elise are everything a champion can be
suddenly riot guts elise because she lacks identity and needs a rework yet leaves lee to be a master of everything for 4 seasons

dfg was a problem riot removed it and wants to give a compensation buff to a random champions which didnt even use it (annie for instance)

mana regen was a problem riot fixes yet totaly ignores that manaless midlaners were ballanced to keep up with infinite mana

the thing that ppl realy dislike about this sht is: -that riot is random with their decisions, they simply behave unpredictaly and barely logicaly

  • riot fcks up preety often either gutting champs totaly or hitting the wrong places with their ballance decisions -some of their decision dont even make sence when you look at the outcome they wanted to archieve -you can clearly see that their ballance is not around the player base and not even around the lcs playerbase (pro players), but around grinding the lcs big money (a champ with binary playstyle cant be in the lcs ecause no lcsbigplays)

Ahri was not intended to be an assassin/burst mage

Why do people keep repeating this? Where is this retarded idea coming from?
