Edit: Watching the gif above, I realized that this doesn't really seem like justice if you don't understand the background to the story.

it has only 400 range.

i think the reason why you might think that the range is larger, is because you probably flashed or used some other mobility spell to get out of range while the animation for his ult was already running.

once he starts casting the ult, you cant avoid getting hit by it. if you try to flash or dash out of range, youll get hit by it at your new location.

No its low range already. I seriously doubt they'll be nerfing garen as they have been struggeling to make him competitive... and still failing.... Garen is just a simple brain dead champion to play, often coined by the phrase "spin to win" Still he is easily out played by many champions wish is why he got the "hero" vs "Villian" buff, and now the Armor Shred. Honestly I figure he'll see another buff soon. I wonder what it will be. more mr and armor ?
