I find his biggest weakness is that anyone who dashes at him, leaves him completely unable to react. maybe allow his void-lings to attach and stun anyone who does a huge percentile amount of damage in a second. Like If I get hit by Akali's or Dianas gap closer, I get 1 hit, maybe give us a chance to fight it out? Or something like this.

In a 1v1 yeah, he does fine, anymore then that, even when fed, and he falls off way hard.

I know, but since they nerfed the voidling's distance, amount of voidlings he can spawn, and their spawn cd rates, he needs some deffensive way to not get 1 hit.

How so? I mean they just hit him again barely two weeks agao buy limiting the distance of his minions and giving them a longer cd rate before being able to spawn more, after having limited how many he can spawn and removing most of their damage, that is after changing his kit to be heavily reliant on his minions after the mage rework.

If they are hitting his minions, then they aren't skilled either way? Plus they chase you only if e is active on you, but will stop chasing you if you are to far or enter a bush, literally rendering Malz useless. It's not a lot to ask to compensate him for gutting him to the extreme.

Even on old Malz, you could time the voidling spawn for when blitz or thresh would try to hook you
Cause the voidling would spawn in the direction of the curser for the fourth spell
