Questions about Nasus build

So I have like 3 matches total with this champion. Yesterday I solo carried a match with him 23-3-9.

Stomped a top lane with Lux+MF(I know it's strange lul) once Zyra rotated from bot lane to help me.

What I want to know it's the best build from people who main him or play him all the times. So my questions are:

  1. Sterak Gage or Frozen Mallet. Should I buy any of the 2 on him? I assume building both would be too inefficient.

  2. Frozen Heart: I don't like it too much, but it seems core on him. Any replacements without losing the CDR bonus? Yesterday I built Randuinn, but because they had a fed Yasuo.

  3. Crit build for the Q crit. Phantom Dancer/Stattik+ Infinity. Should I do that?

  4. Lifesteal: BT for the massive 1 shot lifesteal on his Q with the crit items.

I am thinking sth like: Trinity Force -Frozen Heart- Sterak- Phantom- IE- BT

How does that work late game?

I normally go trinity - boots - deadmans / visage (depending on my lane opponent) - thornmail - warmogs - frozen heart / iceborn gauntlet

To be honest, I normally only get trinity, boots, and deadmans before I can end the game. If you can, end the game as soon as possible with him because you can and will fall off super late game and against heavy cc team comps. Also about crit items and what not, it can be fun but might not be super effective. Full tank is the best for carrying/winning games, however I have done full crit nasus (and full AP nasus for that matter) before they changed the crit items and it is pretty fun. Gives your q that much more power, without all of the tank items of course so you'll get blown up. I imagine building a stormrazor last item would give you a shit load of damage on top of your q because of it's passive. I wouldn't even take any other crit items. Full tank into stormrazor would be the optimal build. The passive for the item would go really well with his Q as well considering if you q once, you have to wait three seconds before you can q again (without his ult cutting his q in half) so you would guarantee getting the passive damage from the stormrazor. I would also stay away from Frozen Mallet because you wont really get anything from Frozen Mallet. I've never used Sterak Gage, so I'm not 100% sure about it. Helps to test out items :)
