I completely understand why he has a 57% win rate. The Grasp of the Undying synergies so well with his new E. Legit, he is dishing out crap loads of damage while being super tanky.

It's not because lelelelel all AD teams, or the Grevious Wounds LW isn't good. No, it's because he is doing carry like damage while being a super tank.

I died at level 2 vs Mundo as Sion. I understand, that I don't do a lot of damage as Sion early but why should he?

tl;dr masteries synergize too well with his kit making him do tons of damage while being tanky.

mundo shits on everyone because nobody builds % armour pen anymore. even worse, if you want to cut through him, you need the executioner's calling last whisper, plus giant slayer which is way too much gold to invest so people have to just stick to either going one pen item or going full crit and trying to shit on his team and then dealing with him afterwards.

Because Sion's kit is primarily CC-oriented while Mundo's kit is primarily damage-oriented?

Mundo is very good at killing tanks in 1v1 situations because he deals a significant amount of sustain damage and tanks don't have the damage/penetration to kill him.

To put things in perspective, Mundo's AD steroid is better at rank 1 than Tryndamere's at rank 5.

Sion isn't a DPS champ. I don't at all see how you expect him to win in a fight against Mundo.

How to kill Mundo: Step one - Have someone play Malzahar and farm till late game when he has 500~~600 AP. Step two - As soon as Mundo hits about 60~~80% of his max HP, just pool then ult him. Watch as he suddenly loses all of his health. Step three - ???? Step four - Enjoy your win.
