Im so tired of seeing pykes land a hook, stun, ult and it brings someone 100-0. then just a chain of stupid ults (because giving this champ a reset on an execute was a good idea)
for how easy this champ is, why can he burst so readily and easily.
not even taking into account how aggravating it is to poke him, he disappears for 2 seconds and comes back with full hp.

loli fidler1 votesdarius does the same thing with health (exept its mid combat) and his ult and people have been complaining for a long time about it riot has never and will never know what there doing when it come to champ creation or balance. this does not mean that they dont get things right every now and then (monkeys and typewrites after all). the only big difference is that one is squishy and the other is not

His Q and E are both telegraphed skillshots. You know they are coming and are given ample opportunity to dash out of the way, juke from side to side, or use a defensive cooldown before getting hit. You are given the chance to predict the attack and get out of the way.
His ult shows you the target area, and the center point and each arm of the X is very thin, less than 100 units. You can step out of the way rather easily if you know it's coming. Just running away from Pyke will usually get you out of the area if he drops it right on top of you. He needs to predict your movement in order to land it.
Pyke's abilities are only easy to land if you let him land them.
breakordoom4441 votesat his core, he is an assassin, and its nothing special that when an assassin catches out someone, they D I E. Pykes abilities and mechanics does make him "easy" but in the role he is meant to be played in, he suffers.
1: He has less gold gain, Minions and kills go to adc (kills pre-6)
2: You are most likely required to spend 1000+ gold on support items and control wards
3: Having less opportunities to roam (adcs like to whine)
Pyke is in a role where an assassin shouldn't be, but here he is. so I believe that the damage and easy to hit abilities are compensation for his lack of.... assassiness.
