Cool patch notes.... but where are the Tahm nerfs??
Seriously.
He needs to be gutted (pun intended)

Maybe they aren't gutting him because they know he isn't broken. Contrary to popular belief.
He feels HORRIBLE to play against. It doesn't even matter if i win the game vs him since the entire experience is absolutely terrible.

So let me get this straight. You've got a champion like Gnar who gets Percent health shred every 3 Autos from safe range, absolutely destroys teamfights with stupid amounts of CC and tankiness (The dude can literally slam up to 5 people into a wall for a stun, and then follow it up with another stun) and you're going to complain about a champion who doesn't do nearly as much damage as Gnar does, can only do that damage to one person, basically DOESN'T have an ultimate, and is only slightly tankier than Gnar during the late game?

Comparing apples to oranges... it's not just about that, it's the fact that it's so stupid to try and 1v1 him (and if he hits you with 1 Q you are dead) and that he is so tanky for the fact that he can just eat allies to get them out of whatever situation. Like if you picked Lux and you land a snare or attempt to ult anything it just gets eaten. It's incredibly frustrating and is so for similar reasons Yasuo's Windwall is hated so much.

I wouldn't compare his devour to a windwall. It's very useful in the type of situation you described, but that's where counter play comes in. Kench can't do anything to save himself or if he can't get to an ally. He's forced to be either a front line tank, or sit further back to save an ally. He's tanking? Then he won't have as good an opportunity to save someone. He saved someone? Now it's a 3v5 if it's late game. Also, kench doesn't delete ultimates and cc like the windwall. In fact, you should hope kench eats an ally so you can stun both of them.

We aren't comparing apples to oranges at all. Both can go top. The only thing I care about when it comes to Tahm Kench complaints is the W saving allies from their own bad positioning.
Because they're probably to busy laughing at these constant qq threads. Nothing happened to him before he somehow became broken. As a tahm kench main, it's funny to see how a champion can go from a troll pick to a broken champion literally over night.
What gets me, is the QQ is over everyone being annoyed that he blocked them from getting a kill. He still has some of the lowest role placement based on his win percentages and numbers. You would think he had a 60% winrate.

What are you even talking about? He got buffed many patches in a row.
Those were hardly buffs. One qol change and a slight damage increase on his q. And he spits people out further and stuns them instead of slowing them. And you know what? He was still trash until he got some worlds play. Those are hardly game breaking buffs. I would say him being a premier world's champ was his biggest buff
His numbers are too good, he has both very high utility, very high natural tankyness and way too damage while building tanky in view of the first two points. He needs a nerf badly.

I think if they just made his ultimate passive so that he deals maximum ememy health instead of his own, then he would be In a good state. He certainly doesn't need to be gutted
I don't think he needs to be gutted, in fact I think all he needs is a damage nerf. A bit less damage on his R passive and about a 25% dmg nerf to devourer on enemies.

That would literally be going against the point of Tahm. The reason he's allowed to have all of this damage is because he only has two damage abilities, and an ultimate that's basically a crappy teleport. Seriously, the end lag on it makes it impossible to get the drop on anyone with it unless you're trying to cut someone off, and even then, it usually doesn't matter that you cut them off. If you shaved 25% of the health damage off of Devour, you will literally have destroyed Tahm. He's supposed to do all of the damage he does because otherwise, why even take him? Being able to save team mates is fucking infuriating people so what exactly do you want Tahm to be? Do you just want him to do nothing? You might as well take Morgana at that point if you gut him so thoroughly

Believe you me, sir. The minute I find out my passive is doing damage based on THEIR health and not mine, I'm becoming a Trinity Borker

Again, Gnar does way more damage than Tahm does, gets extremely tanky and has huge CC. Where is your argument now?
Numbers refer to base tankyness and damage. Gnar tends to build some damage items. Without items Gnar does not do more dmg than tahm and his base cc and tankyness are both gated by mega gnar, not to mention his best cc, his ult, is situational as it requires a wall and positioning while eating an enemy during an all in team fight is extremely easy.
They are waiting for nerf till the adc changes. If adc's get stronger they also can easyer kill Tahm. They fear if the catfish get nerfed & adc buffed he will die before even reaching his target.
though it´ll be even more about saving his adc from mistakes and carrying him to a save position - which is why he is too strong atm and will be even stronger in the coming league of marksmen.
It's mostly the synergie with certain marksmen & hyper carries that makes him so strong. Basicly
