How best to tackle abusive team mates?

I'm really struggling here. Not sure how to proceed part of me will gladly throw a game to see a flaming team mate punished but the other part of me knows with MMR ratings that's only going to make my position worse so I'd be hurting myself.

But seeing someone win a game I carry after flaming non stop for whatever reason is unfulfilling too. Especially when you're consistently polite back. Its soul destroying........ I actually wouldn't mind winning or losing if I was allowed to bluntly return their 'compliments' but I'm not. In life being able to stand up for yourself is a necessary asset especially if you hold down a job; workplace politics are horrific and if you don't speak out you'll get eaten alive.

But you can't do that here. Even if you're abused and abuse back if you get the sole report you're punished.. I've been flamed and flamed back I won't lie and I am not ashamed of it either. But I've rarely reported anyone and in the past only did so when someone said something truly evil like call a person Cancer or similar. but I notice alot of those flaming actually are the ones crying report too......

So what's the hidden mini game here? How do you all cope?
