Praise Riot for tanking the roster with the tank update

Malphite is the only tank with 50% winrate in top lane

every single tank has lower winrate. all tanks are extremely easy champions that are very straight forward and have very little to keep track of. decent waveclear etc.

tanks have nothing to rush against top laners that have sustain and are lane bullies. ranged and melee alike. they can't do anything to them. if you have lifesteal and you're against a tank. you already won lane. 0 outplay required

when I saw that GW thornmail change. I was like "tanks can actually have something to atleast fend off mindless wave zoning and poke"

the thronmail change wasn't gonna make tanks busted because they reduced its damage by more than half. (damage is already pathetic if you have like miniscule amount of MR). but it was at least gonna let them survive some of tops that rush lifesteal and tower dive them or zone them from waves while sustaining minion and trade damage

fiora can tower dive with ult and lifesteal and her ult heal would negate turret damage and the tanks. very early into the game.

even the "op" in pro play galio has very shitty winrate. at 48%. its just too easy to deal with tanks in solo queue because they fall too behind while feeding the top carry without their control. they have zero agency in lane.~~~~

you're hard nerfing tanks because of pro play. but you don't understand that they are already awful in solo queue because they get crushed in lane. and tanks DO NOT scale late game. tank stats are less efficient as a whole the more you get. the % of damage that you can tank compared to your original HP pool is just less and less the more items you buy. you pick a scaling top or a lane bully. scaling tops can out lane plenty of them. and lane bullies crush them so hard they don't get to late game.
