Title. I find it extra weird because Irelia's Q is treated as an AA, and applies on hit effects - including the AOE on-hit effect that a fully stacked Guinsoo's gives. I find it peculiar that Q'ing doesn't give a stack as well.

stacks are registered by on-attack effects rather than on-hit.
On hit = when damage is dealt. (ineffective against blinds) On attack = on an attempt to deal damage. (effected by blinds)
is an example because his Q can't proc it either, but that is because his Q procs on hit effects, and not on attack effects.
is an on-attack effect, proven by the fact that Ezreal's Q is unable to proc it.
