Would anyone else be interested in more traditional RPG elements in League?
Things like:
- Traditional stats that affect multiple, smaller stats (Vitality, Intelligence, Strength, Dexterity, Wisdom, Charisma etc.) (Charisma would affect buffs, debuffs, and those pesky invisible auras Riot hates)
- A few more damage types from the massive pool of damage types out there (Elemental Damage -- Slash, Piercing, Blunt -- Poison, Burn, Curse -- etc.)
- Defensive stats that interact with different forms of damage (Deflection vs. Single Target, Reflex vs. AoE, Willpower vs. DoT, Fortitude vs. Ambient Damage)
- Accuracy instead of Crit Chance with Graze, Hit and Critical Strike Zones and a more fluid damage gradient (e.g. Graze equals 75% damage, Hit 100%, and Crit 125% damage)
- Roles that you choose and affect how much use you can make of each stat (Marksmen gets 10% less Health from Vitality; Tanks gets 10% more) and that grant you bonus effects throughout the game
- Less ways to directly increase/decrease damage and more ways to augment it (e.g. Penetration, Increasing Spell Radius / Range, getting Accuracy, Buffing Allies, etc.)
I think elements like these would give League more flavor, instead of making it a game about the FotM champions, the "perfect" imbalance, and winning Ranked.
