I sware if I don't see keystones removed in preseason
I am going to be kinda upset.
Also delete stormrazor and duskblade.

as long as they stick with the current rune system, we need a lot more of them tbh., so its not that a couple of champions are favoured with good rune choices, and some are practically left without.
and definitely a couple of defensive ones.
one of the problems with the current system is that there is only one single defensive rune tree, and even there are runes that add damage.
I agree with the fact that its a problem that runes are focused on adding damage in any place possible tbh, but instead of adding more they should change existing ones. Before Runes Reforged, the old masteries had 9 keystones which is 8 (6 at launch) less, so I think its time to stop adding more because they will become less and less unique. Especially since they just keep getting more and more niche (ex: hail of blades), but whether that is a problem or not is another discussion.
If we're removing Duskblade then we need to fully revert the assassins update.
Could we get back flat pen and remove these shitty gimmicks like Talons passive or Zeds ult passive?

No, Duskblade is the problem, not lethality or the Zed/Talon kits. Duskblade has proven consistently since it's conception that it's a cancerous item to the game. Do we remember when it started building from a BF Sword and Pickaxe? It was super busted back then, which caused it to get nerfed heavily into what it is now. And then now, the item is STILL proving to be heavily problematic, which means that it's not the stats of the item that's the problem, but the passives on it. I think Riot just needs to give up the charade and retire the item. They can't seem to make it work.
Do you remember assassins just after the assassins rework? When they were without duskblade, with their unreliable kits only (due to the delayed burst bullshit) and with theirs sub 45% winrates?
Current assassins are just plain out bad without duskblade, because most of them lack frontloaded burst. If we'll add at least half of the duskblade proc damage back to the assassins kit, im all in for removal of the item.
They have thunderlords decree 2.0 now to make up for it. Any assassin will take you sub 50% with a combo that procs electrocute
Problem is, assassins should take at least 75% of your hp, not 50% with full combo. And 75% is the worst scenario here.
Thiss isn't a full combo. This is basic poke. With their ults they simply delete you. Zed w q e auto. Akali shutiken auto q Talon dash both q Ect
So they should force me to recall everytime they poke me without ult, where as I need to lane multiple non ult combos to make them recall?
These are poke combos. Im talking about combos like: Zed r w q e Talon r melee q w aa
We had a little misunderstanding then i guess.
We did indeed but that's all good.
Jst to clear any foggy space up

Was indicating the bare minimum. Be it 3 autos, 3 spells, a mix of both. Once zed has dirk, a WQE combo will at the very least, half health any mage even through seekers armor guard. If they only bought 1 pot, they will need to back because in just over 20 seconds zed will do it again only this time with ignite and more autos. The issue being meanwhile, a mage like say vel'koz has to land multiple full combos or counterless Q's to reach the same result, even more so if the assassin buys hexdrinker

they need yto do that anyways. there is no need for "multiple" armor pen items, and the armor pen on skills also needs to be drastically cut.
like they buffed so many champs armor pen on skills and flat out GAVE armor pen to champ who did not in any way need it and already bluild black cleaver
.
armor is basically a troll stat now
Would be interesting to have no runes or anything to add damage other then items

Can we remove you in preseason too?

lol
Really, it's not the idea of keystones that's the problem, it's that because keystones are so limited in number and there's the minor-runes in addition to them it ends up creating a situation that heavily favors champions with special synergies with a given keystone while others are just left in the dust of mediocrity.
The system concept isn't flawed by any means, it's a matter of current execution.
Keystones were around in the old Masteries system, so there is no chance they are getting taken away.
They were not a thing until season 6. And even then season 6 ones had some problems but season 7 just made it worse.
